I saw these scaffolding planks on the back of a lorry near to where I work, in Central London. People must have wondered why on earth I was taking photos of the back of a lorry with nothing more interesting than building materials in it. Us photographers are a weird lot, right?

The Weekend in Black and White

Black and white floor grilling seen in one of the hothouses at Kew Gardens. Yes, there were plenty of beautiful trees, plants, bushes etc, and I did take some shots of those. But my eyes tend to land on this sort of thing easier. Rust, decay, dirty things...just my cup of tea.

A very misty morning...

Walking to catch a train one morning - on the way to work. Had to stop and take this shot as it was just so atmospheric. I took a number of other ones too, people suddenly appearing out of the gloom. 

Needless to say...I missed my train and had to catch the next one. Late for work...again. 

Worth it!
